Homemade hummus is so fresh-tasting and it’s really not that complicated to make. You probably have the ingredients in your kitchen!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can (14 oz) chickpeas, drained
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • pinch of black pepper

DIRECTIONS
Place all the ingredients into a food processor.

Blend until smooth, adding more olive oil if required to reach desired consistency.

Taste and adjust the seasoning as preferred.

Transfer the hummus into an airtight container and serve chilled.
